Your contribution helps The Pride of Utah to receive $11,000 for a new graduate teaching position!
The U of U Alumni Association will match your contribution.
The University of Utah Alumni Association has challenged alumni of the marching band to contribute to the goal of raising $5,500 for the purpose of establishing the Alumni Band Fellowship. All money raised by band alumni, up to the $5,500 goal, will be matched by the University Alumni Association and awarded to an outstanding graduate student beginning in Fall 2009. Your contribution will help fund this valuable position.
The Alumni Band Fellow will assist the directors with day-to-day operations of the marching band and pep band, and while provide support for the endeavors of our band alumni organization. Your contribution helps establish a new tradition of alumni involvement while at the same time supporting the legacy of one of the University’s great treasures, The Pride of Utah.
We must raise this money by the start of the next school year to take advantage of this opportunity. Your help is needed right away.
